General Terms and Conditions for Purchasing a Ticket for Hop-On Hop-Off Transport around the Kamnik-Savinja Alps
1. Validity of the Ticket
The ticket is valid exclusively on the date and time indicated at the time of purchase. The ticket is non-transferable to another date or time, except in cases outlined in these terms. Advance online reservation and card payment via the official platform are mandatory. Tickets are not sold on the vehicle.
2. Reservation Process
Reservations can only be made through the online platform, which functions as a web store. Multiple tickets can be purchased in a single order, but in case of cancellation, only the entire order can be cancelled—not individual tickets. Upon successful reservation, passengers will receive a confirmation email with trip details.
Reservations for a specific day must be made no later than 6:00 PM on the previous day. Reservations submitted after this time may not be transmitted to the driver in time due to technical limitations of the system, and in such cases, transportation cannot be guaranteed. For reservations after 6:00 PM, passengers are advised to contact the operator directly via email or telephone (see point 12).
3. Cancellations and Refunds
Passengers may cancel their reservation free of charge up to 72 hours (3 days) before the scheduled departure time. For cancellations or changes within 72 hours, refunds are not possible. If the service is cancelled by the organizer (e.g., due to bad weather, technical issues, etc.), passengers are entitled to a full refund or the option to reschedule.
4. Limitation of Liability
The organizer accepts no responsibility for delays or cancellations due to force majeure (e.g., weather conditions, traffic accidents, road closures, etc.). In the case of significant delays, the organizer reserves the right to modify the schedule without prior notice.
5. Arrival at the Stop
Passengers must arrive at the selected stop at least 10 minutes before the scheduled departure. The driver is not obliged to wait for late arrivals.
6. Luggage and Personal Equipment
Small personal luggage (e.g., backpack, hiking poles) is allowed. Transport of larger items, sports equipment (e.g., bicycles), or pets is only possible with prior arrangement and confirmation from the operator. Pet owners must provide suitable transport equipment (e.g., carrier box).
7. Seating and Capacity
Transport is provided with an 8-seat electric vehicle. Seat selection during reservation is not possible. Once all seats are booked for a specific time slot, no further reservations will be accepted.
8. Conduct and Safety
Seat belts must be worn during the ride. In case of inappropriate behavior (e.g., harassment, creating danger, disturbing other passengers), the organizer reserves the right to remove the passenger from the vehicle without a refund.
9. Ticket Usage
The transport service currently operates twice a day—once in the morning in one direction, and once in the afternoon in the opposite direction. The system is not a traditional Hop-On Hop-Off with unlimited entries and exits. Passengers may board and disembark at most once in each direction per day (maximum of two rides per day).
10. Photography and Recording
The organizer reserves the right to take photos and videos during transport for promotional purposes. Passengers who do not consent must inform the operator before the start of the ride.
11. Personal Data Protection
By purchasing a ticket, passengers consent to the processing of their personal data for the purposes of reservation, transport execution, and communication. Data will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent. After the ride, passengers may receive an anonymous survey to help improve the service.
